At Performance Max (PMAX), our mission is to make endurance training accessible for anyone who wants to train in a results-oriented, thoughtful manner. Every training session we record or deliver live features physical training, mental training and educational elements.
The Performance Max endurance training program was launched in 1998. The 10-week PMAX program features a progressive training regimen that includes Concept2 indoor rowing, indoor cycling, Active-Isolated stretching and core training. PMAX participants at all fitness levels get to know what it feels like to train like endurance athletes.
The Met One Weight Management program was launched in 2004. The 11-week Met One program features all of the elements of PMAX plus strength training, regular nutrition meetings, and group behavioral meetings.
Like our live training programs, PMAX audios are designed to educate our customers while training them physically and mentally. These MP3-based programs will make your training more fun and more productive. Professional coaching narrative and uplifting music guide you through each training session.
The PMAX rowing audios are authored by Mark Sutro (national champion collegiate rower at UC Berkeley, Concept2 Master Indoor Rowing Instructor, cycling enthusiast and certified personal trainer) and narrated by Jim Karanas (Club One Chief Fitness Officer, collegiate rower, competitive endurance cyclist and the creator of the PMAX Training program).
